Pre-holiday…
What are the holiday essentials for you and your family?
I literally take a suitcase full of Sunuva for my kids. Really stylish UV swimwear and beach wear for boys and girls. The collection is a one stop shop for kids going onw holiday with lovely coordinating light weight Indian cotton Kaftans, shirts and gorgeous dresses in lovely prints and colours. On Sunuva.com we sell Havaianas flip flops in all different colours, colourful aviator kids sun glasses, funky armbands and lots of fun toys and games to use on the beach or in the pool.
What key items do you include for the kids?
Sunuva UV baseball caps with detachable neck flap
What’s your favourite holiday style?
Boho – shabby chic
What goes through your mind when shopping for holiday clothes?
What suits me – and easy to pack without creasing too much
Whilst away…
Do you have any top tips for effortless dressing?
Comfy cool and slouchy – I love low waisted jersey dresses like our tie die beach dress for mums and daughters.
How do you keep the kids safe in the sun?
SUNUVA all the way – not only are they safe in the sun but utterly stylish too.
Any secrets to keeping them entertained in the shade?
Books – my kids love me reading stories to them
Do you have any essential beach beauty products for you and them?
I really like Sunsense from Australia – we sell it on Sunuva.com, its lovely on kid’s skins – especially if they have very delicate skin like my kids – it comes in an easy roll on application so very easy to get on their cheeks without going in the eyes. I am obsessed with Lancaster spf 40/50 water proof and sweat proof gel.
Do you have a favourite family destination?
Israel – as they have amazing beaches and fabulous food, very child friendly
What do you look for when booking a family trip?
Easy access to pool and beach, relatively small resort, I can’t bear queuing up for breakfast
For first time parents travelling abroad, what tips would you give them when looking into resorts? Somewhere easy to get to , no time difference, with access to good medical services if necessary.
